Hello all. I'm afraid that I have some sad news. Due to the passing of my father last night, I will be taking some time off from content creation this week. My Dear Yarnivores, hello again. I must say that I'm delighted at the response to my membership announcement, and I thank you for all of the support I've already received in such a short time. Some of you have said they can't afford the expense, and that is totally OK, I understand. Some others are having trouble finding out how to become members, also not a problem. I've attached a photo that may help point you in the right direction 😉. My initial plan for tier 1 members is to create credits at the end of my videos, to acknowledge you all. If things continue to go well, I may create a 2nd tier granting early access to videos. It's early days, so I'm still brainstorming and open to possible suggestions. Hello my little Yarnivores and Spiderettes! I just wanted to thank you for all of your support over the years, and to make a small announcement. I just enabled memberships for my channel! At present there is only one level "Sock Weight Yarn" for $.99 a month, and the perk is getting a shout out. I'm starting small because this is all new to me. If you can't afford the extra expense, I completely understand. There are plenty of ways to help - leaving comments, sharing the video, or letting the ads play out. As always, I expect nothing but appreciate everything. Thank you for being you - a yarnivore! 😊

Hello, my little Yarnivores, Spiderettes, and bread lovers! My good friend Russ got me a banneton bread proofing basket for my birthday, and this is the first result. After letting the dough initially double in size, I shaped it, floured it, and cold proofed it in the banneton overnight. The spiral is formed from the surface of the basket. Then I scored it and baked it today. The central score ruptured a bit more than I was hoping, but I'm generally pleased with the overall result. What do you think?
