All eight had varying levels of muscularity, and based on the responses, I identified seven key features that can make someone look enhanced, even if they’re completely natural. I also blood tested every subject and reveal the results at the end. Incredibly disappointing. I guess this is where you all get to say “I told you so”. I’ll go ahead and take my big fat L for defending Hussein. For what it’s worth, I do think this is just a very stupid publicity stunt from Greg, to keep people talking about this. But it doesn’t matter at this point because now the people, like me, who thought Hussein probably was natural, will join the legion of doubters. I still think Hussein’s physique is achievable naturally, even if he isn’t. But no worries, I’ll still hold my L. This stuff really annoys me because it just further feeds into the idea that everyone is a fake natty, which may be closer to the truth than I realized. And now I really regret including Hussein in my video. This stuff causes harm to real naturals who have actually earned an elite physique without gear. Apart from that, all the science I presented in the videos about what’s achievable naturally still stands. Moving forward, if I ever cover this topic again, which I probably won’t, I’m going to focus on presenting the science without using specific examples.

Spoke at Harvard Med this weekend about muscle health and longevity — and had an incredible time! I learned a lot myself too. Muscle is such a powerful predictor of long-term health, and it goes way beyond aesthetics. It was awesome to see so many young people genuinely interested in lifting for function and longevity — not just for looks. One of the moments I’m most proud of: hearing that some attendees were inspired to get into muscle health research after watching my videos. That means the world to me. Huge thanks to the Harvard Aging Initiative for putting on such a great event and to Brad Schoenfeld for bringing his expertise to the panel!

Big update on my 1-year experiment! For the last 365 days, I’ve been running a case study on myself to see how much muscle I could gain naturally, with everything dialed in perfectly. Keep in mind, this is after 15+ years of training. The goal? To test the “natty limit” for muscle growth. I can’t share how much muscle I gained yet, because we’ve decided to extend the experiment for 3 more months. I want to get back to my starting weight before doing the final measurements. So far, it’s clear I’ve gained muscle, but I also added some fat during the bulk. So the question is: will I keep that new muscle when I cut back down? This extra time will give us a clearer picture, and I’ll be wrapping up the study in March. My video with the full results and measurements will drop in April! Can’t wait to share it all with you!

Been writing this book for more than 5 years and I can’t believe it’s finally here!! It takes all the latest science on building muscle and condenses it down into the simplest language possible. My goal when writing the book was for absolutely anyone be able to pick it up, read it cover to cover and be able to understand it. The Muscle Ladder refers to the “rails and rungs” organization of the information. The two rails of the ladder are sustainability and mindset. They’re the first two chapters. Then the rungs of the ladder form the remaining chapters. Those rungs cover all the training stuff like technique, volume, splits, etc. Then there’s a full chapter on nutrition and supplements, plus 20 training programs for all experience levels. I’m pretty stoked — after yesterday’s post we’re back up to the # 1 spot in Men’s Health books and the # 1 spot in Weight Training books. We’re currently # 50 in all new book releases across Amazon! Pretty sweet! And there’s still some time left to pre-order and lock in the best price guarantee. You can pre-order on Amazon, Barnes & Noble or pretty much wherever you buy books. Also big congrats to ‪@sidehustler2002‬ for winning this signed copy from yesterday’s giveaway 🙌🏼
