I finally got my head around the easiest and best way to properly sew bias tape with mitered corners while I was sewing 30 (!!) placemats with bias tape trim for my son's preschool. This video includes: where to start attaching the bias tape, how to sew the corners, how to connect the beginning of the bias tape to the end in a barely visible seam, reducing the bulk from seams and corners, pinning vs. free sewing, and how to finish off sewing the tape.
