Welcome to my channel! This is my very first video, so let me know what you think down below! I used these crates that I found at a garage sale, they were made with a pretty sturdy material, so I thought of this! I had been seeing bedframes made with actual pallets and thought this was a similar look, as the crates are made with pallet wood. I NOW HAVE A RED BUBBLE SHOP! In my shop you can find prints of my work as well as clothing, mugs, bags and a ton of other stuff! 9LivesArt.redbubble.com I specifically did not put supports in the middle for 3 reasons! 1. The cross beam wood was a sturdy, dense wood that does not bow as easily as some. 2. I wanted the space to be open underneath for storage of off-season clothes and any other items that needed to be stored. and 3. using planks instead of a full sheet of wood made it easier for me to clean under the bed without crawling under. It has been about a year since I posted this video, and the bed frame has held up! It is sturdy, there has been no bowing of any kind! To be honest, I did expect some wear after a year, but everything is looking great! the paint is all still intact, there is no creaking, no bending of the boards and especially no cracking!
