That is equivalent to 1/4". Fiskars Self Healing Rotary Mat: https://amzn.to/2NQwcCQ Rotary Cutter: https://amzn.to/2RYru9o Omnigrid ruler: https://amzn.to/2R1yDo7 Supply list:
  • 1/4" (.6cm) cotton clothesline rope. I used about 50' for the basket in this video.
  • metal clips that will fit over 1/4" (.6cm) rope
  • fabric scissors or clipping scissors
  • lots of sewing thread that will match the color of your fabric
  • lots of bobbins with thread that will match the color of your fabric
  • 1 metre of quilting cotton fabric in your choice of color
  • sewing machine
  • cutting mat
  • rotary cutter
-omnigrid ruler
  • sewing pins
  • needle and thread for sewing the part of the rope to the basket
  • crochet hook or stiletto to help push cord together while sewing
