Old video, with minimal tools. EMPHASIS ON DIY! A friend needed a quick frame patch on his 57 chevy Rat rod, We didn't have a good section of channel to just cut & weld in. So, I did it this way. If you dont care too terribly much about how it looks this is a fine method. Did this in a few hours. This is going to be a rat rod, not a show car. I have also repaired frames with a formed channel being placed inside or outside the original frame- but that is more costly for the customer if you need a section bent up at a machine shop.
