Unmatched for a reason. The Lightnin’ 15 is an amp that I had on loan from a friend for over a year. He let me borrow it so long as I made Kemper profiles of his amp for him, hindsight being 20/20 I should have bought that amp from him (it was a ringer) and he’s since sold it on to someone else. Anyways, this is an amazing EL84 based 15 watt amp that has all the chime and sparkle that you’d expect, but it breaks up so well too. Like most of my profiles I tried to capture a wide range of this amp’s capabilities, as well as with a few great pedals in front to push it to its sweet spot. Hear The Profile Each profile recoded directly into a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 into Logic X with minimal post processing.
