Sam and Sue's house is a mess! Someone's taking their things and eating their food! Someone small. And furry. They are surprised to learn that it's a cute little hamster! The hamster has too much energy and it's not good for the house. While Sue is trying to decide what to do with the adorable hamster girl, she builds her a cardboard labyrinth to keep the animal entertained and the house safe. Do you have a pet hamster? If you do, perhaps you'll want to make this labyrinth yourself! You will need cardboard, wooden popsicle sticks, wooden skewers, a few straws, a balloon, hot glue, and some paints to make the labyrinth brighter. It's a bit like the labyrinth they made for their pet rat Tater Tots    • How to Build Creative Labyrinth for Rat   But there are some differences here. The main difference is the fact that this hamster labyrinth is vertical, not horizontal, like the rat labyrinth. So, it needs a ladder to climb up. Sue makes the ladder out of wooden skewers. Then she also makes several revolving doors and fences to go over and under. This labyrinth looks fun and the hamster seems to think so, too. Do you like animals?
