While they were gone, I set up all of the kids animal toys so when they come in, they are surprised to see them all and it's also a hint as to what adventure we’re going on today! When they come home, I jump out from behind our giant teddy bear and surprise them all. After a few hints, Adley realizes that we are going to the Zoo! It’s both Niko and Adley’s first time and they are both super excited! We head out and our first stop at the zoo are to see the giraffes! But we’re not only going to see them, we’re going to feed them. Baby brother is first and no fear he feeds the giraffe first try. We see elephants getting a bath and otters playing. The otters really like Adley and we pretend play that we could get one as a pet an it could live in our backyard skate park. We see lions and my personal favorite polar bears. Monkeys, sea lions, cheetahs, and we get a close up view of a Tiger. It reminds Adley of Rajah, from Disney’s Aladdin. It’s such a fun family day, a great break from our normal routine and so much fun seeing the kids learn and have fun.
