A video guide to the train journey from London to Vienna by Eurostar, ICE and Cologne-Vienna EuroNight sleeper train, complete with a ride along the lovely Rhine Valley on a summer's evening. For info & tickets see https://www.seat61.com/Austria.htm London-Cologne starts at €59, Cologne-Vienna at €59 with couchette, €99 with a bed in a 2-bed sleeper, I paid €139 for single occupancy. Since this video was made the sleeper train has been speeded up to leave Cologne at 21:21 rather than 20:05 - so sunset will happen earlier. But the Rhine Valley looks great on a moonlit night! The train has now become a Nightjet, with a more modern sleeping-car also featuring a shower at the end of the corridor for standard sleeper passengers, as well as the en suite showers in the deluxe compartments.
