I asked nonprofit Executive Directors and hiring managers what job interview questions they ask job candidates for nonprofit work. They shared their favorite questions that, answered well, can help you get a nonprofit job with a great organization. I have hired my fair share of employees for the 501c3 nonprofit I started many years ago. At this point, I have a pretty good sense of who will be a good fit for the job. If you’re starting a nonprofit organization yourself, you might want to keep these things in mind for when it is time for you to hire your own team.
