If you are fitting P5 Chipboard flooring then this video will show you how I set out a floor, cut the boards, bond the to the joists and fix them down, I am using 22mm P5 Egger Protect chipboard flooring for this summerhouse that I am building, this how to guide is aimed at anyone who needs to lay this type of material
This is the way I do it and other carpenters may use different methods and tools etc, but this way works for me
Beware of the glue!! and if you are working on a floor structure and there are trades working beneath you be careful not to drop anything through the joist, If you are walking beneath during the process sometimes excess glue runs down the side of the joists and can drip on your head!!!…...more
