This tote bag has a zipped front pocket, perfect as a handbag, craft bag or baby bag! It takes around 1 yard of fabric. Ok, I seem to have lost a piece of video regarding the zip panel insertion so have made another short video to explain, sorry about that! start on the zip for the pocket

pin the corners

start with a needle in the down position

put the zip into the back

cut off the ends of the zip

sew together the two ends of the zip

hold my zip in place across the top of the bag

fitted the zip to the pocket

turn your fabric the wrong way through in half

finish off back across the top of the zip
