Today on Modern Builds I'm trying a method of DIY Kintsugi using a round concrete table top and gold lead / adhesive. This was my attempt at salvaging what would've been a huge failure and I couldn't be happier with how it came out. If course this isn't 'proper kinsugi' but it was fun and a good learning experience. apply at least one coat of paste wax

breaking it down the center of the slab

laid out 2 / 3 of my concrete

cracked right down the rebar

using gorilla construction adhesive

applied a bead on the bottom half of the slab

put the pieces together in the right order

add a little bit more reinforcement to the concrete slab

filled all the voids from the underside of the slab

fill up all the voids

let it set for about 30 minutes
