The design I've come up with is more compact safer and better looking than any other design I've seen!

I'll be using cactus instead of lava because it doesn't burn your house to the ground. :

Now you just need to get 4 of the same painting all the way around the cactus.

Adding a lid is super easy with the newly added trapdoor placement possibilities.
