When you watch this video, you get the impression that Trower’s epic tone has way more to do with his hands than his gear. It’s like alchemy. Robin Trower tours with three of his Fender Custom Shop Signature Stratocasters. The sigs feature custom pickups created by Trower and Fender master builder Todd Krause, with a reverse wound/reverse polarity middle pickup. They also include a humbucking option in the second and fourth positions.
