Grid Fin Button Up L
$54.99
SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket is capable of landing its first stage booster in order to be recovered and reused. It employs a handful of unique techniques and specialized hardware to accomplish this once thought impossible feat. Perhaps one of the most iconic bits of hardware are the four grid fins that are attached near the top of the booster on the interstage. These grifdins provide steering authority while the booster is back in the atmosphere after falling from space. They help guide and steer the booster to its landing target, either an autonomous spaceport drone ship, or the a landing zone nearby the launch pad. PRODUCT SPECS 100% Cotton Slim Fit [size chart] CARE INSTRUCTION Hand wash separately in cold water. Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Line dry.
Hydrazine Mug
Limited stock
Hydrazine (N2H4) is a highly reactive and potent chemical compound commonly used as a fuel for rockets and more commonly spacecraft. It's a common fuel choice for hypergolic systems, often paired with Dinitrogen Tetroxide. This hypergolic property makes it highly reliable and responsive for control thrusters, which is crucial for delicate operations like satellite positioning or orbital adjustments. However, it's highly toxic and corrosive, requiring strict handling and storage procedures to ensure safety. FEATURES Not recommended for storing Hydrazine PRODUCT SPECS [8.5 oz - 250 ml] Glass Mug Hand washing only

I have all the graphics from this video up on my website if you want to digest them more! - https://everydayastronaut.com/?p=9398... We’re at a really exciting time where the number of crewed vehicles going to the international space station will go from just one to three!. The Soyuz’s 8 year monopoly for getting humans to the ISS is coming to an end. So today we’re going to take a deep dive on the two new spaceships that will be responsible for taking humans to and from the International Space Station from the United States. We’ll compare the Boeing Starliner riding an Atlas V rocket to SpaceX’s Crew Dragon on their Falcon 9 Rocket. And to see how we’ve progressed in the world of human spaceflight, we’ll also compare all these systems along side Russia’s Soyuz capsule and the United State’s retired Space Shuttle in a side by side comparison. We’ll look at the designs, the rockets they’ll ride, dimensions, cost, safety considerations, and any other unique features that each vehicle offers. Considering I’ve been up close and personal with SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Capsule, and Boeing’s Starliner, I’ve got some good insight on some of these vehicles. 00:00 - Intro 02:22 - Boeing Starliner 10:15 - Dragon Capsule 18:59 - Side By Side Comparison 26:00 - Conclusion -------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the AWESOME renders!
