I used 30mm stainless steel washers to make the generator

0:10

I made a 3mm and 4mm hole in each washer

0:19

I fixed the washers with M3 threaded rods

0:33

On the other side, I electrically insulated the rod with a heat shrink tube

0:47

Additionally, I used plastic washers

0:58

As a result, the steel washer is electrically connected to only one rod

1:07

The next washer was connected to the second rod

1:16

Thus, the washers are connected alternately to both rods

1:32

The electrolyser is ready. I checked the connections with a multimeter

1:50

I used a solid water bottle as a housing

2:03

Time to install the electrolyser

2:50

The generator will be powered by a 18650 cell, I used a standard housing

3:14

I screwed the housing to a piece of aluminum

3:31

The whole thing will be mounted with a foam tape and 2 cable ties

3:40

I filled the generator with water

4:16

Potassium hydroxide (drain cleaner) was used as the electrolyte. It is more efficient than table salt

4:25

Time for tests!

4:59

HHO is an extremely flammable gas!

5:20

The combustion of HHO produces water vapor and a lot of energy
