slip this onto your crochet hook

create your first stitch on your next row

wrap your yarn over your crochet hook

wrap one more loop over your crochet hook

stick our crochet hook through the loop on the opposite side

wrap your working yarn over your crochet hook

stick your crochet hook through two loops

cut your yarn and pull it through the last loop on your crochet hook

weave these into the top edge of my hat

sew the top corners of the hat together using some yarn
