To be really honest with you it was the strum pattern that gave me the most trouble, but after a little bit of work and listening I was able to uncover the secret to the Hawaiian strum pattern on the Ukulele, so it is like a double tutorial! The secret, is the big down stroke on the 2 and 4 beats on the 1 and 3 beats are nice and soft. That extra emphasis on the snare gives it the Hawaiian roll, which is crucial to this ukulele tutorial.
