adding a fabric patch

act as the glue between the jeans and the fabric

using a slightly thicker sewing thread in a contrasting white color

cut off all of the loose threads around the rip

use your fabric pen to trace

replace the fusible web in position on the jeans

iron the patch for about ten seconds

secure the patch to the jeans

tie a knot in the end of the thread

feed your needle up through the edge of the jeans

sew into the back of the jeans leg

move a short distance along the edge

secure the end of the thread the same way
