A short while ago I was contacted by a viewer who wanted to know how to tie a rope to his Fishing Magnet, so that it was secure and would not fray. The simplest solution was to tie a Poachers Noose or Scaffold knot around a metal thimble. The beauty of the Poachers Noose is that it will secure itself snugly to the metal thimble. The thimble used in the video is quality stainless steel and does not attract a magnet.
