Our very special  vlog of the day we got to meet our rainbow baby Cru 🌈 After 3 years of praying with all our hearts for this sweet baby.. we were so giddy to meet him 😭This was very emotional because there were times I feared miscarriage and loss would be all we’d ever know. I have never felt so much gratitude than this day! Personally I was surprised because I’d only ever heard how horrible & painful giving birth is.. but as weird as it sounds, I LOVED the whole experience I went into the whole birthing experience with an open mind, and I have no regrets at all 🥰 I labored naturally until 7cm when i got the epidural. I was glad I went through so much of labor naturally because I learned how to get through contractions. My epidural didn’t totally numb me so I could still feel when I needed to push which was nice! Also shoutout to my husband Josh who was the best birth partner! He was probably more nervous about birth than me  😂Coming from a guy who has fainted just thinking about blood, he ended up actually thinking it was really cool and was so special for him 🥰In the beginning when he watched them put the catheter in he got really lightheaded & turned white ! since he faints easily the nurses gave him juice & had him lay down. I did my first push without Josh because he was still lying on the couch .by the second push josh got a rush of adrenaline to be there for me for  birth and never got lightheaded or left my side again !  😭🙏🏽 At first I doubted whether to share what a positive experience we had. I know that sometimes with birth it can be a scary experience. interventions and complications can happen that we have no control over. But I also want to be a voice to those who are nervous about birth. (Like I was!!) My advice would be to not let other people’s birth stories scare you 🙏🏽Do everything to get into a positive headspace. And remember that each contraction brings you closer to your sweet baby!
