Slime Sam wants a very special Christmas decoration! He wants it to have lights and to move, too! Spin, even! His human friend Sue has an idea on what to make. It spins and it gives electricity! You can make this project, too! It will require some time and patience, but the result is certainly worth it! The materials you're going to need are: some cardboard, wooden sticks (you can make them from pencils you don't need), some wires, small bulbs, a motor, some glue, and some decorating materials. You don't have to decorate the house like Sue and Sam do, your imagination is the limit.
First, make a base for the house. Glue the wooden sticks to a large cardboard circle. Then glue the floor of the house and the walls. Attach the bulbs onto the window and over the door. Insert the motor into the opening in the wall. Make the turbine and attach it to the motor. Then connect all the wires. Make sure to observe the polarity! Then cover the house with the roof and decorate!
Sam and Sue painted the roof and the turbine and added some artificial snow and a snowman. Sam even shared some candy to add to the festive mood. It's so much fun to watch the turbine work!
