This short Doco is on George Amarantidis also known as "Shoumoulika" or "Shoumoul". He has made many albums and sticks to the traditional playing of his Lyra/Kemence. He was also the Lyra/Kemence player for the "Dora Stratu" Dance academy in Athens (see other videos). In the clip you will also see Vasili Fotiadi (brother of Prof. Kosta Fotiadis) son of the old priest of Panagia Soumela (Sumela) in Greece.
