1300, 1400, 1700 or 1800 series delta monitor tub or shower faucet. fix for leaks and or drips any location. also the fix for tempature control issues. complete video detailed rebuild delta valve body. very easy that any mrs. or mr. fix-it can tackle this job after watching this informative & demonstrative video here on youtube's partner "the handyman zone" RP19804 CARTRIDGE note: after the install if the hot water comes out first, you have the RP19804 valve in upside down, just take it out rotate it 180 deg (flip it) and re-install Let the water run until both hot and cold water is fully mixed. Rotate the handle fully counterclockwise to the hottest position, if you have a Monitor 1700 or 1800 series model (handle controls volume; temperature knob controls temperature). For every tooth the rotational limit stop is rotated clockwise, the water temperature will decrease approximately 1º C. NOTE: If water temperature is too cool, rotate the limit stop counterclockwise. Counterclockwise if you have a Monitor® 1300 or 1400 series model (handle controls the temperature only, not the volume). For every tooth the rotational limit stop is rotated counterclockwise, the maximum water temperature will decrease approximately 3º C. NOTE: If water temperature is too cool, rotate the limit stop clockwise. For 1300/1400 series: Replace the handle. After verifying the water outlet temperature, secure the handle with the screw. Do not over tighten. For 1700/1800 series: After verifying water outlet temperature, snap temperature knob into place. MAKE SURE COLD WATER FLOWS FROM THE VALVE FIRST.
