Today I am making my Grandmother's soft flour tortillas. This is one of the first recipe I remember learning as a child. I have listed the measurements and tips below. Making a soft tortilla takes practice and familiarizing yourself with what the dough feels like and the texture before your roll out the tortilla. My best advice is keep on trying and don't give up. These tortillas are perfect for burritos, wraps and tacos. The fat content in the recipe can be substituted with a healthy oil of your choice, butter or lard. If I had to give one tip to making good tortillas, it would be practice makes perfect.
