The Thermal bypass valve is used when there is on dedicated return line. This piece comes in the box and has a very good instruction sheet. This bypass valve is to be installed on the fixture that's has the longest run of hot water piping. Make sure you remove the factory installed plug located on the hot water side of the tankless and install the supplied filter. On the older models like the RUR98 the filter is located inside the tankless clipped to the piping. On the new series its located within the box. To cover this new series of tankless heaters I will be doing a total of 4 videos to cover all stages of installation. Note: MAKE SURE YOU LOCATE THE CONTROLLER PLUG LOCATED IN THE INSTRUCTION SHEET BAG THIS IS NEEDED TO CONNECT THE Control R AND THEMC195T-US. You can go onto Rinnai's website to look at any instructional videos or to locate a licensed installer in you area. REMEMBER; To always use a licensed installer and to follow all national and local codes in your area. you can find them and all other information by going onto. Rinnai.us If you have any questions please feel free to e mail me at economyplmbg@aol.com Most of the time I will e mail you back with my telephone number and we can go over it. I hope you enjoy this video. Mike
