Today I will work on an ordinary household axe

After that I will paint it over by hand

I removed the handle

and started my favorite process removing the unnecessary bits

First, I used grinder with cutting wheel

and then changed it for a felting one. refined the axe shape by hacksaw

Now I cut off some metal

I clean off the original paint, nicks and other imperfections by petal circle

To relocate brass on metal, I will need a brass brush

and a gas burner to heat the metal up to 150C

This time I will make a Viking axe with marine theme from an ordinary household axe. I will cut it out by my grinder and then cover it with brass.
