Hello! Welcome back to a new tutorial.

Today, I'll be showing you how to make a super simple auto carrot/potato farm!

This is by far the simplest design I've ever found and it is very reliable.

These are all the items you need. A list is in the video description.

Start off by digging a one-block hole in the ground and place water inside it.

Using a temporary block, place the composter above the water.

Place a glowstone block above the composter and remove temp. block.

Now, hoe 4 blocks out from each side of the composter.

Make this into a square of farmland by connecting it all together.

Next, plant your chosen crop on every block of farmland

On one of the edges of the farm, in the centre, dig down two blocks.

Place a rail that runs along the edge of the farm, NOT into it!

Build two pillars either side of the rail and place a hopper minecart on the rail.

Extend those pillars one block back and place two more blocks in the middle of the two pillars but leaving a block to the hopper Minecart.

Create a two high wall of glass panes around the outside of the farmland

That is the build of the farm complete! Now to get two villagers: one for the farmland and one for behind the hopper minecart

Yes this Minecart does have a villager in, it's just a visual glitch with the Replay Mod.

Break the villagers out of their Minecarts and the farm is done!

You may want to trade with the farmer to ensure they keep the farmer role all the time.

That is it! This farm may take a few in-game Minecraft days to start working due to villager mechanics.
