Hello Shiny Crafty People and welcome back to the channel! I'm Tim Totten and today we're transforming two Pioneer Woman placemats into a super easy and fun casserole carrier! Have you ever gifted someone a pan of brownies or a lovely homemade casserole and wanted a better way to present it? Tired of losing your best casserole dish? This entire ensemble cost just $13 in materials and makes a great item you can either gift or not worry about getting back if they forget to return it! Here's a breakdown of what I used to make this project: 2 Placemats (Pioneer Woman Patchwork from Walmart): $6.94 for two 1 13x9 Metal Pan with Lid (from Dollar General): $5.00 1 Strip of Hook & Loop Fastener (11" pieces): Less than $1.00 Matching thread Sewing Machine Scissors I've made two more of these since recording this video and I was able to complete them in less than 10 minutes each! What an easy way to coordinate with your own decor or to complement the decor of the person you're gifting to! Imagine seeing a special design on someone's gift registry and getting additional placemats to make gifts like this to go with it. Thanks again for joining me and, until next time, stay crafty!
